İnşikâk Sûresi Wahiduddin Khan Meâli

When the sky bursts open, ﴾ 1 ﴿
and obeys its Lord as it must, ﴾ 2 ﴿
when the earth flattens out, ﴾ 3 ﴿
and casts out all that is within it and becomes empty; ﴾ 4 ﴿
and obeys its Lord as it must, ﴾ 5 ﴿
O man, having striven hard towards your Lord, you shall meet Him: ﴾ 6 ﴿
he who is given his record in his right hand ﴾ 7 ﴿
shall have an easy reckoning ﴾ 8 ﴿
and he shall return to his people, joyfully, ﴾ 9 ﴿
but as for him whose record shall be given to him from behind his back, ﴾ 10 ﴿
he will pray for utter destruction ﴾ 11 ﴿
and he will enter the blazing flame. ﴾ 12 ﴿
He used to be happy with his own people; ﴾ 13 ﴿
for he never thought that he would have to return [to God]. ﴾ 14 ﴿
But he will indeed! His Lord was ever watching him. ﴾ 15 ﴿
I swear by the glow of sunset, ﴾ 16 ﴿
by the night and what it covers, ﴾ 17 ﴿
and the moon when it grows full, ﴾ 18 ﴿
you will progress from stage to stage. ﴾ 19 ﴿
What is wrong with them that they do not believe? ﴾ 20 ﴿
When the Quran is read to them, why do they not fall to their knees? ﴾ 21 ﴿
Indeed, those who are bent on denying the truth reject it -- ﴾ 22 ﴿
God is quite aware of what they are storing in their hearts. ﴾ 23 ﴿
Therefore, give them the news of a painful punishment. ﴾ 24 ﴿
But for those who believe and do good works; for them there shall be a never-ending reward. ﴾ 25 ﴿
