A’lâ Sûresi Wahiduddin Khan Meâli

Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, ﴾ 1 ﴿
who created all things and gave them due proportions, ﴾ 2 ﴿
who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; ﴾ 3 ﴿
who brings forth green pasture, ﴾ 4 ﴿
then turns it into black stubble. ﴾ 5 ﴿
[O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- ﴾ 6 ﴿
except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- ﴾ 7 ﴿
We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. ﴾ 8 ﴿
Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. ﴾ 9 ﴿
He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, ﴾ 10 ﴿
but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, ﴾ 11 ﴿
who will enter the Great Fire, ﴾ 12 ﴿
where he will neither die nor live. ﴾ 13 ﴿
He who purifies himself, ﴾ 14 ﴿
who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. ﴾ 15 ﴿
But you prefer the life of this world, ﴾ 16 ﴿
although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. ﴾ 17 ﴿
This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- ﴾ 18 ﴿
the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. ﴾ 19 ﴿
